Taking only 80 points handicap with us, it was always going to be an uphill struggle but at the halfway stage there was still hope with the aggregate score (inc. our handicap ) being 196 to 192 in favour of the home team. In the second half ,however, Paraplegics took control and ran out winners by 431 to 314.
Playing 2 sets of 5 games was a new challenge for the U3A battlers but one set was won by 10 points, Len won a game and both Gil & Pat Boylett recorded individual game victories on their first appearances in the team. Well done to them!
