The Head of Estates at Southport College has reminded all clubs using the Sports Hall that the College operates a ‘Respect for All’ policy, an outline of which can be viewed here: College Respect policy
The Club fully supports this policy, and will not tolerate violent or threatening behaviour towards any member of the college staff.

Some weeks there may be a night when none of the teams is playing at home, so that night is then normally available for practice sessions.
However, there may be occasions, particularly later in the season, when these dates are needed for rearranged matches.

As there are no home fixtures on Monday 12th or Tuesday 13th, this are available for rearranged matches, or for a practice evening from 7.30 to 9.30pm.
For the 2011/12 season, we will be entering an extra team in the League, bringing the total to 7, and with other clubs also entering additional teams, the League will be at its strongest (numerically) for many years. As a result, the fixture schedule will need to be expanded to fit in the extra matches, and the season will now begin in the week commencing 12th September 2011.
There will be three divisions of 11 teams in each, and NO teams will be relegated from last season.

The ‘F’ team has reached the Final of the Gunson Handicap Plate competition, to be played on Tuesday, 29th March at St Teresa’s Club, from 7.30pm.
Their opponents will be Formby TTC ‘C’ from Division 1. The starting handicap of 300 points means our ‘F’ team needs to get 141 points over the 40 sets to be sure of winning.
